Eija-Liisa Ahtila is one of the most internationally recognized contemporary Scandinavian artists. Since her break-through in the nineties, she is a pioneer in
the development of cinematic installations.
We came up with the idea to make a moving lenticular-printed to associate with her cinematic approach. We came up with different versions based on existing videos. But we were really happy that Eija-Liisa Ahtila decided to make a uniqe sequence to this particular cover. The plan was to film a real trained raven but unfortunately it escaped in a storm two days before being filmed. The animation was made by the team at Crystal Eye/Kristallisilmä Oy lead by Ilppo Pohjola.
